The female ski jumper Anette Sagen has been granted the honor of making the opening jump on the new Holmenkollen Hill in Oslo, Norway, on March 3th. Anette has worked tirelessly to move the sport of ski jumping for women forward and this is another step in the right direction. Ski jumping is the only sport where women are not allowed in the Olympic Games, while in Norway woman have been ski jumping for 150 years!
In her first jump on the new Holmenkollen hill, Anette jumped 106,5m.
