In today's second official training the German team again performed well, but athletes of other nations were able to make up ground on them.

It was a very close race for the top positions in today's second official training. In the first round Germans Carina Vogt (103.5 m) and Juliane Seyfarth (103.0 m) were ahead of Austria's Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (102.0 m). Also Coline Mattel (FRA, 101.5 m), Switzerland's Bigna Windmüller (101.0 m) and Sarah Hendrickson (USA, 97.5 m) had good jumps in that round. Yesterday's winner of both training rounds Anna Rupprecht (GER) only took the 9th round rank.

In the second training round Seifriedsberger jumped 103.0 m, the top distance of that round. Behind her was Hendrickson (101.0 m), ahead of Rupprecht on third (100.0m). Places four and five were taken by Seyfarth (99.5 m) and Vogt (99.0 m). Sixth round rank was claimed by Mattel (98.5 m).

Germany's Melanie Faisst skipped that training, as she had a good feeling after yesterday's training and wanted to save power for tomorrow's competition. The German team was the only one having five athletes participating in the official trainings. Head coach Daniel Vogler decided, that Carina Vogt, Melanie Faisst, Juliane Seyfarth and Anna Rupprecht are going to start, while Ramona Straub is going to act as replacement, as only four competitors per nation are allowed.
